Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified integrative counsellor with a BA (Hons) in Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Surrey. My training began with CPCAB Levels 2 and 3 in Counselling Skills and Studies, followed by the CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. Since then, I have gone on to complete the CPCAB Level 5 qualification in Working with Young People, as well as the Level 6 in Clinical Supervision, including Online and Telephone working.
I have also attended specialised training to enhance what I can offer clients such as – Working with Neurodiversity, Working with Disordered Eating and Body Image, Working with Suicide and Self Harm, and Supporting clients in the LGBTQIA+ community.
During the pandemic, I trained as an online and telephone Counsellor.
As part of my bachelors degree, I carried out a research project on the intricacies of disordered eating.
I have experience working in various settings with clients face to face, via zoom and telephone. I have worked with clients between the ages of 10 and 65 years old presenting with a range of concerns ranging from mild to severe.
I currently work with adults and young people aged between 10yrs and 65yrs+.
