Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and have a Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Surrey. Prior to this, I gained the CPCAB Level 4 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and CPCAB levels 2 and 3 in counselling studies/skills. Since then, I have completed the CPCAB level 5 in Working with Young People. I have also attended specialised training to enhance what I can offer clients such as – Working with Neurodiversity, Working with Disordered Eating and Body Image, Working with Suicide and Self Harm, and Supporting clients in the LGBTQIA+ community.
During the pandemic, I trained as an online and telephone Counsellor.
As part of my bachelors degree, I carried out a research project on the intricacies of disordered eating.
I have experience working in various settings with clients face to face, via zoom and telephone. I have worked with clients between the ages of 10 and 65 years old presenting with a range of concerns ranging from mild to severe.
I currently work with adults and young people aged between 10yrs and 65yrs+.
